This discussion focuses on how to deal with the crisis and seize the opportunities.This paper outlines the concepts of container multimodal transport, describes the development status of container multimodal transport of Tianjin Port, combined with the new situation and its impact, finds many problems of container multimodal transport of Tianjin Port, creates the optimization model of container multimodal transport based on the dry port, takes transportation cost and time cost the two objectives into account, based on a trade-off between transportation cost and time cost, and determines Pareto optimal solutions of the two-objective model to minimize total cost. Then the theoretical findings are applied to a case study, with highly reasonable results. Finally, the Development Strategy of Container Intermodal Transport of Tianjin Port is proposed.
