Strategic Management Of Small And Medium Software Enterprises For Dalian

In recent years, the development of software industry in China showed the situation of rapid development and goverment showed clear attitude that support software industry and put a number of policies to encourage the development of software industry. The outbreak of the financial crisis exposed that our country industrial structure existed long-term unreasonable situation.The SMEs of manufacturing industry in Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places closed down a lot, SMEs in the face of the crisis reflected the lack of effective means and hedging.This related to SMEs'lack of management experience especially the lack of strategic management thinking.The software industry had clean,low-power, high-growth characteristics ,so it became local government's important transformating direction.At present, China had established 11 national software bases. As the first national software industrial base ,Dalian's industrial-scale increased 68.2% every year.It has became one of the fastest growing cities. Dalian Software Park had first-class level's building. It provided favorable conditions for software enterprises in Dalian and cultivated a batch of internationally competitive companies.It also became the effect of agglomeration effects and scale effect. However, many SMSEs'state in Dalian were not optimistic and their business model was poor.Based on the above background,this paper analysised the status of the domestic and abroad software industry firstly and also studied the development situation of abroad software industry in the background of financial crisis and pointed out affect for domestic software industry. It also analysised the domestic software companies, indicated the problem of domestic software industry. It used of strategic management theory of enterprise core competence in Infosys and Neusoft companies and compared them. It provided the small and medium software enterprises useful references in Dalian by analyzing their core competitiveness. Then the paper used SWOT analysis tool for the external opportunities and threats and internal strengths and weaknesses of small and medium software enterprises in Dalian , then got their strategic choices . Finally, it analyzed the formation of industrial clusters in Dalian software industry .Based on the above analysis ,the paper showed the development strategies of small-medium software enterprises in Dalian:differentiation and centralize strategy, leadership of talent strategy, strategic alliances.Different small and medium software enterprises in Dalian can conduct its own strategic choices accordingly to themselves'situation, and make the enterprises built sustainable competitive advantage and gradually build their core competitiveness.
