| In the process of the global modernization development, tourism as a product about the development of social productive forces to a certain stage, and become a common expression for the development of a social material and spiritual. As a contact and communication system, it reveals the existing or emerging value system about social cultural,and has profound sociological significance.This study baseded on the tourism demand theory, global modernization theory, and through empirical investigation of tourism demand about the urban residents, analysis the status of tourism demand of the Shijiazhuang urban residents, to identify the affecting factors of the tourism demand, excavation the relationship between tourism and modernity, to provide a reference for the tuning industry structure, mechanism tone live, ideas width adjustment, actual adjustment measures, target adjustment of the Shijiazhuang tourist industry,and a foundation of the tourism enterprises to developped the tourism market of Shijiazhuang urban residents.Paper is divided into six parts:The first part, summarize the existing domestic and international travel needs on the research status, and puts forward the idea of this study and the research hypotheses.The second part describes the characteristics of survey sites and sample profiles.The third part, from three parts summarizes the characteristics of tourism demand of the Shijiazhuang urban residents about the status of urban residents will travel, the tourism demand in the travel, and travel evaluation.The tourism demand in the travel including travel information, travel mode confirmed, confirmed travel itinerary, travel conditions expected.The fourth part, analyzes impact factors of tourism demand of the Shijiazhuang urban residents. On one hand, internal factors including urban residents gender, age, education level, marital family status, personal social status, economic situation, tourism motivation; the other is the external causes, including social and cultural factors, tourism destination factors, the tourism propaganda, will affect people's tourism demand.The fifth part, analysis of Shijiazhuang tourism in SWOT. From the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats four angles to summed up the tourism industry in Shijiazhuang.The sixth part, according to research findings, concluded that:the diversification tourism demand of urban residents; urban residents own (internal) factors have a significant impact on tourism demand; external factors affecting travel demand of urban residents; the degree of the development of society impact on tourism demand of urban residents.
