Cultural tourism is a focused question. Research on the character of urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism, it enriches demand of cultural tourism on theory, and supplies decision-making bases for marking of cultural tourism destination on practice. This paper uses the theory of tourism market segmentation to study the description framework and method of character of urban residents' demand to cultural tourism, uses sampling survey method to obtain basic data, and uses Stat analytical method to make instance analysis on characters of Changsha urban residents' demand to cultural tourism.The article is divided into six parts. In the first part, it reviews the relevant research on cultural tourism, tourism demand and demand of cultural tourism, explains the purpose and importance of this thesis, and displays the route, plan and method of this research. In the second part, it defines some main concepts involved, explains the theoretical basis used in the thesis, such as tourism demand, market segmentation and behavior dynamics. In the third part, it analyzes influencing factor and logic relation of the character of urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism, and constructs the description framework. In the fourth part, it chooses the methods of qualitative and quantitative analyses, collectivity and delaminating description, commonness and difference description as the description methods of the research, and then further studies the description method of delamination. In the fifth part, it uses sampling survey method to makes instance analysis on the characters of Changsha urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism. In the sixth part, it draws conclusion and gives several suggestions.The main conclusion is that this thesis has accomplished the design of description framework and description method to the character analysis of urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism. Besides, through practical research, we find the great difference between overall character and the delaminative character in many aspects: the travel pattern, the price expectation to core cultural tourism products, and thegreat diffidence between and within different layers. Thus it is essential to research on the overall and delaminated character of urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism, and also desirable to delaminate by stability of characteristic variables.Bases on the conclusions above, the author give suggestions to satisfy demand of cultural tourism of urban residents of different income, different gender, different educational background and different avocation. Suggestions are: deep mining cultural tourism products of different price, attaching importance to exploit cultural tourism market for female, sufficiently satisfying urban residents' demand towards cultural tourism of high educational background, magnifying market demand through paying attention to cultural tourism diversity of urban residents of different avocation. |
