In this thesis, progress has been made in the controlled preparation and application about the conducting polymer/magnetic nanocomposite particles and Hollow particles. By "Swelling-Diffusion-Interfacial-Polymerization Method", we can control the structure and morphology of the resultant nanocomposite particles facilely.The main contents in this thesis cover the following two aspects:(1) Controlled Preparation of Core-Shell Polystyrene/(Fe3O4@Polyaniline) Nanocomposite Particles by Swelling-Diffusion-Interfacial Polymerization MethodPolystyrene/(Fe3O4@Polyaniline) core-shell nanocomposite particles with uniform and tailored morphology have been successfully synthesized using "naked" PS particulate substrate with the aid of a proposed strategy, the so-called "Swelling-Diffusion-Interfacial-Polymerization Method"(SDIPM). After initially forming aniline-swollen PS Particles, the Fe3O4nanoparticles are added. As the value of pH is not less than7, the Fe3O4nanoparticles are stable. The added acid not only controls the diffusion of monomer toward the aqueous phase, but also makes the Fe3O4nanoparticles adhere to the surface of PS nanospheres. As the process carrying on, the PS/(Fe3O4@PAni) composite electromagnetic nanoparticles are formed. The fabricated core-shell nanoparticles are uniform, and it is easy and effective to control the structure and morphology by simply changing the PS/Ani/Fe3O4weight ratio or the addition amount of the doping acid. (2) Controlled Preparation of Polystyrene/Polyaniline Hollow Nanocomposite ParticlesThe hollow PS/PAni nanocomposite particles are fabricated through a modified "Swelling-Diffusion-Interfacial-Polymerization Methord". This method can be seen as the combination of "Hard-Template Method" and "Soft-Template Method", and it successfully makes essence absorption and dross discarding.With this method, it is not necessary to do pretreatment and/or aftertreatment. After initially forming aniline-toluene-swollen PS particles, diffusion of the monomer toward the aqueous phase was controlled through an addition of hydrochloric acid, eventually leading to its polymerization on the substrate particle surface. This process allows the nanocomposite particles to possess uniform and intact PAni overlayer. At the same time, toluene, which is still inside the composite nanoparticles and forms a PS-toluene solution, can be removed by simply washing with ethanol, in the result of dissolving out PS and further strengthening the shell.
