| As a silent language for modern image matching, garment accessories have set off a frenzy of designing in the fashion industry. It not only shows the inner personality of the dresser, but also conveys his aesthetic temperament and interest, values as well as aspirations. Under the context of pursuit of nature, fashion, personality will, mental feeling and interest, designing accessories with cultural connotation is increasingly valued by designers and appreciated by consumers. Therefore, in accordance with world trends, accessories design should carry the mission of emotion, culture as well as fashion, so as to satisfy consumers and meet the demand of the market. In this paper, the author discusses the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture and its application to accessories design methods, with purpose of employing Gaudi art to the design of garment accessories as a creative thinking, which can provide a new creative inspiration for accessories design and add new interest to traditional aesthetic, as well as explore a new way for further applying Gaudi architecture accessories design.This paper makes use of such research methods as theoretical integration, phenomenon analysis, and combination of typical cases with design practice application, offering a diversified perspective on accessories design method as well as the application of the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture to accessories design methods. The research can be divided into four parts. The first part is about the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture. The author gives a detailed analysis of the forming background for the concept of Gaudi architecture art and its architecture style, and then points out the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture from the point of view of art, namely, beauty in form, crafting beauty, color beauty, and aesthetic emotion. In the second part, the modern accessories design methods are put forward. The author first discusses object of originality and the subject of design originality, then explores the elements of accessories design and the depth of design thinking combined with Herms scarves classic case, and puts forward a concrete design method. The third part is mainly about the application of art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture into modern accessories design. The author analyzes some successful application cases of Gaudi architecture in fashion brand designs with different levels and different consumer orientation, and proposed the method of materializing Gaudi artistic spirit dress combined with the modern clothing product trend. Finally, the author designs creative practice according to the above theory. With silk scarves, tie’s creative practice as the carrier, the author makes a well interpretation of the artistic spirit of the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture in three series from the rule of beauty in form. Due to the special structure of silk scarves and ties, it is suggested that the silk pattern composition and the distribution of aesthetic feeling as well as the color collocation be matched, thus achieving the harmonious beauty of dermatoglyphic pattern, modelling, composition, coloring and crafting.By applying the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture into designing patterns of silk scarves and ties and making discussion of its practical feasibility, it is proposed that the art aesthetic characteristics of Gaudi architecture can be employed in the clothing product design, e.g., the application of silk and tie product development, hence producing garment accessories with distinct modern characteristics through the close combination of Gaudi architecture, accessories design with the current fashion trends. Due to its accordance with modern people’s aesthetic demand, this kind of accessories design has a strong market application value. The paper also provides some suggestions and reference for the theories of future accessories design. |
