With the rapid development of aerospace, Defense, electronics, appliances, canning and other industries, especially China’s car industry, so the quality of requirements of cold-rolled sheet-steel shape is higher than before,and its demand is increasing,too. In various processes, taking effective measures to improve the quality of sheet-steel,which has become anxious to do for strip manufacturers. Continuous-tension leveler can effectively improve the shape, its performance uniformity, elimination of all shape defects, and ultimately improve products quality of the sheet-steel.However, in our country, many steel companies use the tension-bending machine, which are imported from abroad. As the protection of foreign technology, at present, in our country, there is no tension-bending system design theory. By Mr Cui Fu’s theory, which represented by research on the role of tension-bending deformation, he conducted a preliminary analysis, he did not give some parameters specific calculations. Therefore, when the technician to debug tension-bending machine, they just have some production experience, and no theory, which greatly reduces the efficiency of the equipment, and some tension-bending machine, in a very long time, They did not in good condition.This paper establishes a theoretical model for tensile bending deformation, and its mechanism is analyzed, it calculates the deformation of the strip and the middle layer of the offset, in the strip tension-bending process. Now, steel companies most commonly used "two bend a correction" type tension-bending machine, this paper will use the "two bend a correction" as an example, analysis of the loading mode and deformation, it produces elongation analysis of the causes and results of the analysis out to derive a new formula for percentage elongation. Proposed the new percentage elongation, based on the relationship between the discussion of other process parameters, they obtained the relationship between the qualitative and quantitative, which provides a theoretical basis for design of the tension-bending machine and post-commissioning.
