Crane at the construction and transportation site play a key important role, to safety management for cranes is a key task for safety. To reduce accidents caused by crane hazards, a clear idea of site management to reduce management error, to ensure the safety of long-acting lifting operation, author mainly analyzes the risk of cranes, lifting machinery.By analying common, using fault tree techniques (FTA), five fators include human, machine, material, method, rule, environment are studied,which induce injury accident.The accident of rope breaking of crane is analyzed, and the Importance of basic events are sorted, identified and steps to prevent the key links on the methods for controlling accident are studied also.For typical accidents caused by crane, the Preliminary Hazard Analysis are used to assess the danger degree of crane,the method fault tree technical measures to ensure the overall safety of lifting the program are proposed; from the rope break mechanism and causes, crane wire rope break accidents are analyzed, with the mathematical model to calculate the fatigue strength of rope, measures to provent rope breaking are propose.
