According to the features of natural gas, that is flammable and susceptibility, the safe operation of natural gas pipelines are very important. Integrity management is an advanced and effective safety management technology of oil and gas.its purpose is to change from passive to active, from prevention to prior detection, control the pipelines operation risk in the reasonable and acceptable range.This article summarized the operation situation and open problems of Jingbian natural gas pipelines. Jingbian natural gas pipelines service life is15years. On the premise of don’t replace the gas pipelines, there are59gathering gas line,8main gas line will exceed the service life, in6years.But with the lasting operation of the gas pipeline, there are some problems coming up. For example, pipelines corrosion perforation, design defects, unsuitable of materials, inferior quality. The emergence of these problems will seriously affect the safe operation of pipelines.And the pipelines integrity management system and technology is to solve these problems by using scientific methods,as to carry out the relevant work, to improve the integrity of natural gas pipelines. This article introduced the concept, method, basic steps of integrity management.According to the basic steps and methods of pipeline integrity management, studying integrity management system establishment with targeted measures, including including file system, organization system, control system, data management system, risk assessment system, integrity management emergency system.The establishment and operation of integrity management have some active effect in the aspects of reducing accidents, prolonging the pipeline cycle, reducing production cost. To ensure the long-term safe operation of the Jingbian gas field pipelines, to ensure maximum cost savings, the establishment of integrity management system has great significance.
