The paper has been conceived in the academic background changed, whichcontent of the physical geography is undergoing cultural turning and the geographymust pay close attention to complex process, which base on the physical processesand patterns and the human processes, coupled human-environment systems. At thesame times, because the insight of the geographical regionalization has turned tofunction regionalization from the ecological districts. So the regional system ofman-land relationship has been the most important paradigm for the geography andthe geographers, it is important thoughts for my article also. For these reasons, thepaper uses the weighted sum as the method to calculate the129counties sustainabledevelopment index, which including the resident bearing capacity index,employment carrying capacity index, economic bearing capacity index, resourcecarrying capacity index, ecological bearing capacity index and comprehensivecarrying capacity index, so as to research the territorial complex regionalization，namely the targeted regionalization in Yunnan province According to SustainableDevelopment. Then the paper put to use spatial interpolation to research thesustainable development index of the elements and geo-complex, in order to revealthe spatial patters of Yunnan province.This article wants to enrich and perfect the theory of the geography, especiallythe geographical methodology and reveal the spatial situation of the sustainabledevelopment of Yun Nan province; at the same times，it will be useful for theregional planning and practices guidelines to Yunnan province in the future. Based onthese indexes, the results are as follows: It is prominent special difference in thecomprehensive carrying capacity index of Yunnan province, which is higher inmiddle than the marginal area of Yunnan. So the paper has divided5regions,18subregion and26districts; The comprehensive carrying capacity index is closelyrelated to the employment carrying capacity index and economic bearing capacityindex; The comprehensive carrying capacity index functional center is formingintegrally, but it is difference and it is lying lower situation, but these center is the significant region for the sustainable development of Yunnan province in the future,especially for the planning of Yunnan province.In the context of the sustainable development regionalization of Yunnanprovince and the spatial interpolation of the sustainable development index, includingthe resident bearing capacity index, employment carrying capacity index, economicbearing capacity index, resource carrying capacity index, ecological bearing capacityindex and comprehensive carrying capacity index.
