Industry is the lifeline of the national economy. China is the largest country of greenhouse gas emissions. The core of energy conversation is industries’. The relation research between industrial carbon emission and industrial output can help to examine the relation between industrial development process and energy consumption, carbon emission, understand the progress of the industrial energy conservation, promote the sound development of industry. This paper take2001-2011as a sample, base on the basic equation of industrial carbon emission and fossil fuel, first calculate the industrial carbon emissions, and analyzes the main features of the carbon emissions of industrial sector. And then uses decoupling index analysis model, Grey correlation method and co-integration and Granger causality to analysis the relationship between industrial carbon emission and industrial output. The study found:(1)2001-2011, the industrial sector carbon emissions faster still in the growth phase, energy conservation situation is not optimistic;(2) China’s industrial output and industrial carbon emissions is relatively decoupled state as a whole and the relative decoupling trend will continue, at the same time there is some gap from the complete decoupling;(3) industrial output value and the change trend of carbon emissions have larger convergence, but convergence degree is different in different industries;(4) exists between the industrial added value of industries and the carbon emissions from industry development to the carbon emissions of one-way Granger causality. According to the results of the study, this article puts forward policy Suggestions on the industrial sector to reduce carbon emissions in the end.
