Chemical laboratory is a very important part of the construction of colleges, it is an important part in students learning practice. The safety of potential prevention is an essential part of university chemical laboratory. Chemistry lab store items, with a large number of potential hazards in the chemical experiment medicine most flammable and explosive, easier to fire, some of the chemicals are very expensive, easily stolen, there are some poisonous gas, some chemicals needs to be stored in a specific environment. If these hidden dangers failed to discover, it will inevitably cause major safety accident and property loss, therefore, chemistry lab security monitoring is very important. This article will be expounded the chemical laboratory safety hidden trouble and for laboratory monitoring alarm and other countermeasures.Monitoring alarm system in the chemistry lab at present is mainly. commonly used surveillance cameras, temperature and humidity meter, etc. while camera can take the picture of laboratory accident, take pictures of the personnel into chemical lab, but it’s not real-time protection, in case of dangerous or safe hidden are hard to take measures in time,it is easy to cause accident because risk of accident, managers can real-time remote viewing to chemistry experiment data such as indoor temperature, humidity, smoke, can’t observe situation in the experiment, the security of the chemistry experiment is not guaranteed.This design is based on MCU and GSM module and ARM9and capture module. First of all, the single chip microcomputer seize information through the temperature and humidity sensor, smoke sensor, infrared sensor, light intensity sensor and magnetic sensor, if these sensors beyond the threshold of set, single-chip microcomputer will module to the mobile, and at the same time, the installation siren signal alarm, remind students and teachers to evacuate the scene as soon as possible. ARM9with the infrared module, if there has a moving objects, the camera can be automatically and save, provide evidence when handling safety accidents.This design mainly include object choice, risks analysis, and then according to the specific risks of detailed design scheme is determined, then from the hardware, the design principle diagram and the circuit diagram, then the system’s hardware you need processor and the selection of corresponding sensor is analyzed and the software.With test it shows that:the design has realized the remote monitoring alarm function, achieve the desired effect, and can be all-round monitoring of the chemistry lab, people can take corresponding measures. This system has a stable performance, simple operation, low cost, high cost performance, and has a strong application value.
