In modern mining,frequent security incidents have become a serious threat to the personal safety of underground personnel.Especially in the process of ore mining when operating a scooptram,landslides which may cause personnel and vehicles buried often occurs.It is precisely because of the existence of such dangerous in underground mining,mineral company around the world are trying to avoid and reduce the direct operation of the ore transport.What’s more,with the development of science and technology and the innovation of technique in recent years,digital mine technology has become the main developing trend of mining industry.Thus,the wireless remote control scooptram is born.This thesis designs a universal wireless remote control module which is both visible and portable based on Wi-Fi transmission in order to achieve the wireless remote control function of the construction vehicle within 100 meters of the visual range.Meanwhile,this module takes into account the real-time video return function to ensure that the vehicle operator can get the vehicle running status and information in time through vehicle camera and return device when remoting control a scooptram.As a result,the potential risk of direct driving will be avoided.The main work of this thesis is to design the hardware and software of wireless remote control system,and develop different types of portable module on this basis to realize the versatility in different vehicles and occasions.Firstly,this thesis compared several wireless transmission methods including Wi-Fi、RFID、ZigBee and so on.The comparison covers aspects of economy,versatility,application prospects and whether the method meets the requirements of underground working environment,system function and performance index.Besides,transmission of remote control signal and video signal is also taken into account.Given the above considerations,the Wi-Fi is chosen as the wireless communication mode.Secondly,underground scooptram is not the only vehicle being controlled when designing the hardware circuit.The universal analysis is carried out based on the offer of the core remote control module.Planning the special function of the hardware module according to the application of different occasions will let the operators be able to choose on their own needs,which means customization and extendibility.Finally,transplant the system to the hardware platform in the Ubuntu environment to implement function integration,and to do the integration analysis of wireless remote control data and video data.Thus the functions of stable transmission and control are met.In the design of the overall structure,how to make the circuit as simple as possible and lightweight is taken into account to ensure that the final package of the whole system allows operators to carry,and will not lead to excessive fatigue wearing a long time.On this bases,the module is planned,the overall structure and appearance of the remote control system is designed,and the shell is processed through the 3D printing technology.
