Research On Ecological Security Assessment Of Arable Land In Shaanxi Province

As the essence of the land resource, cultivated land resources is the most importantmeans of agricultural production, is the basis of land ecological system stability andoptimization. In today’s social economy high speed development, because of populationgrowth, resource consumption increasing, the cultivated land quantity decreasing, qualitydeclining, and the cultivated land ecological environment worsening, the ecological securityof cultivated land resource has become one of the important issues affecting social sustainabledevelopment. Therefore, the central committee of the communist party of China will protectthe cultivated land into the basic national policy of our country. Land management law of thePeople’s Republic of China regulation" the state shall implement a system of cultivated landcompensation. Non-agricultural construction upon approval of the cultivated land, accordingto the principle of ’how many you occupy, how many you must supply’, the units occupyingthe cultivated land shall be responsible for digging up the same quality and quantity ofcultivated land ".The research on the cultivated land resource ecological security will beconducive to promotion of protecting cultivated land quantity and quality, to ensure that thecultivated land ecological security, and realize the sustainable development of cultivated landresources.This article researches cultivated land resource ecological security relevant concepts andbasic theory, which based on ecological research at home and abroad. And analyze of thecultivated land quantity and quality status in Shaanxi Province. Then the paper obtainscomprehensive value of cultivated land resource ecological security in Shaanxi Province anddifferent cities through the PSR model, applying the method of analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and differential standardization. At last, analyze ecological security situation ofcultivated land resource in Shaanxi Province, and put forward measures to protect cultivatedland resource ecological security. The main research conclusions:（1）In Shaanxi province，the quantity of cultivated land is declining，and quality ofcultivated land is low. There are large differences of cultivated land quantity and quality ofevery city. The quantity and quality have obvious regional characteristics. （2）In2003-2012, the level of cultivated land resource ecological security in ShaanxiProvince has improved but volatile. Shaanxi Province cultivated land resource security is notstable and there is a big hidden trouble.（3）The level of cultivated land resource ecological security in Shaanxi Province hasobvious regional differences. The best was Yangling demonstration zone, the worst was YulinCity.
