Fuzhou region hot spring tourism development has a huge market potential relying on its unique resource advantage, and will create rich economic benefits for Fuzhou tourism. However, in recent years, Fuzhou hot springdevelopment does not reach the designated position in planning and management, lack of product differentiation, brand and characteristic cultural connotation, and lack of resources integration, so the research on Fuzhou region hot spring tourism development has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the summary of the hot spring tourism at home and abroad, this thesis combines the theory of target market and regional tourism development theory, analyzes Fuzhou region natural geography, geographical location, hot spring quality and culture of the development of hot spring resources and also analyzes the development history and present situation of hot springs and Fuzhou regional development strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and challenges. A questionnaire is applied to investigate Fuzhou region hot spring market, to summarize the population characteristics, tourist behavior, willingness tospend, overall satisfaction, customers market at home and abroad, time and market positioning. Fuzhou hot spring tourism is divided into three big development areas in this thesis and hot spring tourism products are designed with the theme of "a county, a feature", and the corresponding strategies to enhance the value of hot spring products are put forward, in order to better promote the sustainable development of hot spring tourism in Fuzhou area.
