The development and utilization of marine renewable energy is from exploratory stage towards the industrialization stage gradually, but many of the key technologies are still immaturity. The technology of wave energy convertor is still in the phase of in-depth research. The development and design to the production development of wave energy convertor is of great significance to solve the energy problem. Based on the production development of oscillating buoy wave energy convertor as the main thread, 1kW small wave energy convertor is carried on analysis and research in the method of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation to propose standard sea trials on the technological process for the small wave energy convertor. Finally, the prototype test on the sea trials and normal operation also verify this production development.This paper is based on the transition of design ideas and combines with the characteristics of wave energy resources in China and all kinds of wave energy convertors of energy conversion and transmission mechanism to design for 1kW small oscillating buoy wave energy convertor. The design was proposed based on the transition of two key technologies, double stroke torque output system in oscillating buoy type and damping plate for floating body structure with anchor mooring system, and expounds on the device and the design characteristics of the structure as a whole.This paper is to analyze the hydrodynamic performance of energy intake system, namely, the oscillating buoy, and analyze by ANSYS APDL and AQWA on the hydrodynamic numerical simulation of the F-K wave force calculation oscillating buoy suffered to verify if the design of the oscillating buoy can reach the work requirements of installed capacity of 1kW. The mooring system is determined and optimized by hydrodynamic numerical simulation of damping plate for floating body structure and overall response of the device and stress analysis of wire rope with ANSYS APDL and AQWA.In this paper, a standard sea trials on the technological process is suitable for a small oscillating buoy wave energy convertor, for the special form of the designed structure of the proposed alignment scheme and overall delivery of the land, and implements the theoretical analysis, the perfect combination of the results of numerical simulation on the engineering prototype. This paper introduces the processing, manufacturing,assembly and launch process of the engineering prototype in detail, through the successfully prototype sea trials and operation verify the feasibility of water dynamics key technology and provide a thinking on the production development of this kind of the wave energy convertor.
