The Model Of The Secondary Seismic Vulnerability Of The Building And The Evaluation Method Of The Emergency Shelter’s Suitability

The earthquake is one of the natural disasters that have great threat to the people’s life and property in our country. The strong aftershocks which tended to cause some serious structural damage and unnecessary casualties often happened after some earthquakes. There was often a large number of homeless people need to be placed. So how to arrange the people considering the effect of secondary earthquakes becomes the primary problem.Through the study on the analysis of the data, the paper has given the damage model of secondary earthquake of the three kinds of buildings. Then the paper had a research of suitability evaluation of the emergency and gave a method in term of the suitability evaluation. Finally, taking an engineering project as an example, the dissertation make a future study on the effect to structures of the secondary earthquake. Then the paper combined the suitability evaluation method to evaluate the suitability of the engineering example. The main contents of the dissertation are as follows:(1) In order to evaluate the seismic hazard of the houses in the double seismic type, the paper collected the data of the multistory building, multi-storey reinforced concrete building and the single building in the earthquake that had the characteristics of the double type. Through the research of the data in the method of regression analysis, the paper has got the assessment model of the earthquake damage. At last, to prove the reliability of the model, the dissertation chose the data of the Ludian earthquake in 2003 to have a inspection.(2) Through the research of suitability evaluation criteria of the emergency shelter, a evaluation model has been given based on the criterion of the effectiveness, security and accessibility. In the purpose to arrange the people, the method can make a rapid evaluation on the building in the earthquake emergency period. To prove the feasibility of this method, a evaluation has been made on the emergency shelter in Shenzhen and also made a contrast between the results and literature results.(3) The gymnasium in the Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology has been chosen to make a numerical simulation analysis by the Sap2000 software. The seismic wave of the first and the second earthquake is inputted one after another. A result has been concluded that the secondary seismic action has an impact which can’t be ignored choosing the index that includes the node displacement, the number of plastic hinge and ductility factor as a decision basis. It can make the earthquake damage strengthen further which sometimes becomes the decisive factor. It also makes a suitability evaluation on the gymnasium to judge that if it can be used as an emergency shelter when the earthquake strikes.
