Gegongnong copper gold deposit and the main part of and the study area are located in thefamous ERON porphyry copper belt. The tectonic unit belongs to Changdu micro continentalvolcano arc basin fault fold system of the Qiangtang Changdu Huaxia south coast continentalisland arc orogenic belt in the Qiangtang Sanjiang composite plate. The mineralization unit forChangdu North Qiangtang (-Puer) Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, Fe, Hg, Sb, RM, gypsum, magnesite orebelt of Changdu Cu, Mo, Pb, Zn, Ag, Au, Hg, Sb, salt metallogenic belt. The study area is inthe Gegongnong Nongwayouzhe, Au, Fe, Cu, Mo, Ag, Mn, limestone areas. Therefore, it islocated in the belt favorable tectonic location and favorable metallogenic zone, metallogenicpotential is larger, and prospecting prospect is good.This article collects closely related with the Gegongnong deposits and regional geological,geophysical, geochemical exploration, remote sensing, mineral exploration and scientificresearch data as the basis and a comprehensive analysis of the geological background of theresearch as the starting point, study further geological characteristics as the basis, the analysisof geochemical characteristics, remote sensing alteration information extraction and remotesensing interpretation of geological structure as an important tool. It is used geological,geochemical exploration, remote sensing, comprehensive geophysical information to circleforecast area and prospecting in the study area inner ring.The main contents are as follows:(1)Collecting data systematically. Collecting the regional tectonic background,metallogenic belts, strata, structure, magmatite, metamorphic rocks, gravity, magnetic,geochemical exploration, remote sensing information; collecting geological, geological,geophysical and geochemical data.(2)The study of geological background.Analyzing the tectonic setting、the characteristicsof metallogenic belt and stratigraphy, tectonics, igneous rocks, metamorphic.(3)Studying Geological characteristics of the deposit、 Ore-forming elements andPredictive factor.The keystone of the study are ore bearing strata, ore control structure,porphyry, wall rock alteration, mineral (chemical) feature and ore, setting up ore formingmodel, comprehensive analyzing metallogenic elements and predictive factors (includingGeological, geochemical analysis, remote sensing information).(4)Comprehensive information extraction and research work of the study area.This articlewill analyze the characteristics of geochemical, geophysical;extract remote sensing alterationinformation from study area, study remote sensing interpretation of geological structure and the characteristics of the remote sensinganomaly. On this bases, it will also comprehensivelyanalyze the characteristicsof geological, geochemical exploration, remote sensing, geophysical.(5)Comprehensive information mineral resources prediction of the studyarea.Combinating the geological, geochemical exploration, remote sensing and geophysicalprospecting information can find out the predicting area, and make sure of identified in thestudy area prospecting.This article has obtained main acknowledgement and accomplishment as follows:(1)Through synthesis analytic research of the geological background, the prospect of oreconcreation and the direction of ore hunting in the Gegongnong deposit has been furtherdefined.(2)This article has made further research about the geological feature of deposit and madeit clear that magmatic activity divided into three stages. After that, the article fix theminerogenic model and then it put forward that there is possibility for finding Breccia pipetype gold ore body in the deposit.(3)This article has interpreted the information extraction of the remote sensing alterationand the geological structure of remote sensing, and it has explored the relationship about theremote sensing information and ore formation. Through synthesis analysis, the article deemsthat all the known metallic ore deposits are distributed between the Strip clampings whichformed by the regional faults suited in the North West corner-South East corner. And most ofthese deposits are controlled by the intersections of the circle structure or the linear structure.Therefore, the linear structure has close connection with the ore formation.(4) It is considerly combined with the geology, mineralization, geophysical andgeochemical anomalies (mainly for geochemical anomaly), remote sensing alteration anomalyand linear ring structure combined coupling to make a metallogenic prognosis area delineation.In the study area, it is circled five prediction areas, two of them are level A, two of them arelevel B, one of them is level C. It points out the direction of research in future prospectingwork.
