Researching area located on Tethys-Eastern Himalayan region, "San-jiang" structural zone south section, in conjunction with several major intersections of the plate, the southern tip of Yidun arc, combined with the east of the Jinsha River, Ganzi-Litang suture zone on the west side. In recent years, large and very large porphyry copper deposit discovery in the region is such that the area of concern and gradually become an important copper ore district.Prospecting Model is defined on the basis of qualitative prospecting model, the conclusion of the model involves prospecting mark, as a variable, according to some statistics, mineralization variable assignment, and then through the "GIS" software, achieve qualitative information into quantitative information, in order to achieve a comprehensive information prediction model to predict the evaluation of the study area. This collection compiled existing geological study area, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing data, geological background of the study area, typical deposit feature, metallogenic regularity study summarizes regional prospecting model, and through the development of digital basis maps, with "GIS" software, will consolidate the various types of data superimposed screening favorable metallogenic area, draw metallogenic prospect areas.
