With Eighteen Report significant dwell on urbanization, new urbanization about urban and rural, urban and rural integration had a significant impact on the development of towns and villages’spatial structure and layout. Polarization and diffusion action of the center city, small towns as a bond bridging rural development, the role of serving agriculture in rural areas and so on, allows each village to make its functions. But with urbanization, urban development emerge mononuclear spatial structure, pie-style sprawl and small towns’development lagged lead to not form sub-center ribbon. Discrete spatial structure of towns and villages is difficult to adapt and even hinder the integration of urban and rural development. Therefore, from the perspective of the town, carefully study the spatial structure of the town, is an important breakthrough to push forward the new rural construction, reconstruct town and rural spatial structure and urban and rural development. Three elements of the spatial field model:nodular, accessibility and potential energy surface can calculate and display towns such interrelated, interacting relationship perfectly. It is an important means and methods of structural optimization villages. Meanwhile GIS space technology, space statistical methods and fractal theory, have injected a new vitality to the optimization of the spatial structure of town. Space field energy model can provide a scientific basis for the spatial structure of rural research.Research taking Changzhou City, Jiangsu Southern region as the study area, in support of GIS technology, space field energy model and fractal theory, analyses status spatial structure, rural spatial structure layout optimization, and balanced spatial structure research of towns and villages. The main research contents and conclusions as follows:(1)The situation analysis of rural spatial structure:using fractal theory and spatial statistics, research the space characteristics and spatial correlation structure of towns and villages. With GIS space technology combined with spatial statistics (ESDA-GIS), the article researched the spatial structure model spatial sequence of rural settlements to reveal the current problem of town spatial structure in Changzhou.(2) Under the action of urban space field, the layout optimization of rural spatial structure. We analyze data of2012from the node, the channel and the domain surface, based on GIS space technology and space field energy model. Study the rationality of town and rural’structure from the town radiation range. This research analyzed town as the core of growth regional development and the size of its radiation force.(3)The protocol of layout and adjustment scheme on rural spatial structure: According to zoning and feature analysis of space field energy, get adjustment programs of town and rural space structure. Finally, we use the element fractal dimension model to validate the equilibrium of Changzhou town and rural spatial structure.In conclusion, this paper takes Jiangsu Province Changzhou city as research area, analyses status spatial structure, rural spatial structure layout optimization, and balanced spatial structure research of towns and villages. The result suggests that: space field energy model combined with AHP and GIS spatial analysis methods can calculate and display towns such interrelated, interacting relationship perfectly. It is an important means and methods of structural optimization villages. This study makes practical sense on guiding the optimization of Town and Rural spatial structure in Changzhou, and is also valuable for other cities as reference. Rural spatial structure optimization program provide a scientific basis for rural spatial structure study under new urbanization, urban-rural integration background.
