Analyzes of the landscape pattern change is the research hotspot of the landscape ecology at present. Landscape pattern indicates the interaction result of a various natural, biologic, and social ecologic process in the different space and measure, and decides how the all sorts of naturally environmental elements distribute or combine in the landscape space for restricting the different ecologic process, and affecting the internal transformation of landscape about energy stream or substance stream. Thus, it is effective to comprehend the ecological process according to researching landscape pattern. To analyze the changes of landscape pattern along with times could not only reflect its ecologic process, but also reveal the system and rule of landscape alternation that implementing the sustainable use of resource.By using GIS, RS and GPS technology to study the landscape pattern change of the Hailaer River basin. In this paper, the Hailar River watershed study, based on remote sensing digital image, land use data and ground GPS data collection and other major data sources, combined with geographical features of the Hailar River, in the remote sensing and geographic information system technology support, to establish landscape classification systems and interpretation signs, interpretation of the landscape type classification obtained Hailar River region in 1990,2000,2009, three times the dynamic distribution of landscape types. By using the indexes of the landscape pattern:landscape diversity index, landscape dominance index, landscape fragmentation index, distribution centroid and extended dimension, the thesis presents the landscape pattern and dynamic change from 1990 to 2009. Discusses the changes in the watershed landscape pattern and driving forces and driving factors.The results showed that, nearly 20 years, the Hailar River Basin on a large scale landscape patterns changed little in the horizontal direction and vertical direction are the more obvious laws of various landscape indices in different degrees of change, human driving factors of the regional landscape Changes in the pattern play a key role. Research results may view the science of ecological management, conservation and sustainable use of reference and technical support provided for the realization of the Hailar River Basin for sustainable social and economic development, improve the ecological environment of great significance.
