In recent years, the urbanization has been processed a lot in China. The increasing numbers of lands in suburbs has been developed for mining industry.Abandonment mine causes by blind explore not only affected the environment but also bring geological disasters. Theabandonment mine in Mentougou district of Beijing has become one of the bottlenecks area in city’s development and turn inthe signifygeological disaster prevent areas. These mines are mostly disorderly piled,do not have terrain data and deposits complex structure, shape differences, how to size them and quantitative evaluation of geological disasters is a great challenge. This paper aim at measurementaccurately about suburban new terrain simulation data and former terrain restoration data. Use UAV and GIS spatial statistical techniques, select the appropriate evaluation factors in the study area, geological disasters of abandoned mines to make qualitative and quantitative evaluation..This paper considered the abandoned mines in wangping town mentougou district Beijing as an example, analyze the potential danger of geological disasters, determine the evaluation factor. Using GIS’s spatial analysis capabilities to extraction factors. And using AHP to determine the weight of evaluation factors, the introduction of comprehensive index method to mine geological disaster forecast area. At last give some managements and suggestions of geological disasters in mining proposals and countermeasures. The results show that: The Geological Disaster in wangping town is more serious, especially surrounding the abandoned mines and some steeper, complex area. In this regard, the paper proposes:(1) Try to learn some successful experiencein domestic and foreign by the transformation of abandoned mines, take commercial development or mining land reclamation and other measures to improve the local ecological environment into the consideration.(2) Make high-precision UAV data, rapid, accurately identify changes in the study area, and to provide a basis for geological disaster forecasting.(3) Finding the sources of danger areain abandonment mine. Take precautions in geological hazard area and make ready to reduce the loss of property personnel.
