Along with the popularization and application of GIS technology, Cause the users to make right analysis and decision which is based on current accurate geographic data, so higher demand has been placed on the spatial database for its currency and accuracy. The vector data update is an important way to keep the currency of the spatial database. Current research focuses on the detection of changeable information, organization of incremental data as well as database update backtrack. And with the increasing development of network, based on B/S architecture and trend of integration of geographical analysis and data management is becoming more and more obvious.This article in view of the above several research emphasis, based on technologies analysis of update method, spatio-temporal data model, geographic analysis, incremental updating process control, and historical data query back technology, focus on research and design to achieve a set of incremental updating mechanism that adapted to the vector data, to meet the demand of the vector data currency and history data management, implementation of vector data incremental updating mechanism and geographic analysis. Based on this, the research and practice on series problems of updating of vector database maintenance of historic data, based on B/S architecture, combined with GIS geographic analysis, designs and implements a analysis of traditional Chinese medicine resources management monitoring platform, and finally, verified the research achievements of the thesis.According to the above goal, main research content of this article is as follows:(1) Analysis current mainly update model of database and discusses the currency of data etc.Analysis the current several main kinds of spatio-temporal data model, and study characteristic of each spatio-temporal data model, choose spatio-temporal data model which is suitable for vector data characteristics, and constructs the incremental updating mechanism.(2) For data update needs to consider a few principles, introduced in the overall point of view technology route and realization process of vector data update, designs a kind of incremental updating method that based on State correction extension model, set the current state of the latest vector database as the base state and ground state is driven by incremental information to record changes and updates, uses Multistage differential file to save data which is different between the old and new base state, and in this way could form historical data for retrieval and backtracking.(3) Discuss thought that based on the object-oriented and implementation base state, incremental information and differential information file of vector data structure organization as well as processing method.Design query historical data after vector data has been updated and process algorithm of historical process backtrack.(4) This article uses the qinshui county of Shanxi Province as the application area, And apply the updating method and process of vector data which based on base state correction model to qinshui Traditional Chinese medicine resources data, traditional Chinese medicine resources data, design and implement the analysis and manage monitor platform of traditional Chinese medicine resources that based on the B/S architecture, integrate GIS geographic analysis and data management, verify the feasibility of vector data incremental updating mechanism.(5) Finally, this paper makes a comprehensive summary about the vector data incremental updating mechanism which based on ground state correction model, and according to the shortcomings of the paper, puts forward further prospects on future research direction.
