Habitat suitability analysis for species protection and nature reserve management plan has very important significance. Red-crowned Crane is protected birds, endangered species at the national level, Zhalong National Nature Reserve is important in our red-crowned crane breeding grounds, a clear distribution of its suitable habitat is critical to protect the red-crowned crane. This study was conducted from2012to2013between May3to collect the nest-sites on field distribution of data points, and microhabitat use in2013Zhalong Landsat-8TM remote sensing images to extract environment variables, combined with DEM elevation data, human disturbance data model be crowned crane in MAXENT nesting habitat distribution predicted output in ArcGIS reclassified get Zhalong suitable nesting habitat distribution method based on expert experience. This paper compares the2004and2013habitat quality, quantitative analysis of the changes of the past10years in protected areas Zhalong crowned crane suitable nesting habitat. The main results obtained are as follows:A model through the ROC curve test, the test results show that the training set, validation set AUC values were0.901,0.935, both excellent level. In2013the total area of suitable habitat for protected areas accounted for17.08percent, an increase of3.18%over2004.2013Zhalong crowned crane capacity of the protected area is283pairs,191pairs compared to2004increased by92right,10years Zhalong protected areas suitable nesting habitat quality has improved to some extent, more conducive to the propagation of red-crowned cranes.
