As the important reserved resourccs and material basis of economical and society sustainabledevelopment, the ecological resource of Ningbo bay is also considered to be an important part inthe construction of eco-security system. To address the development, protection and developmentissues that ecological resources of Ningbo bay faces, the most important prerequisite is to identify avariety of ecological environment in Ningbo resources such as the Gulf situation and the law ofevolution and change elements of land, vegetation, etc., for the purpose of sustainabledevelopment of relevant policies about Ningbo city,this paper provide basic reference data to assistgovernment departments on the basis of scientific decision-making, construction, scientificmanagement and construction of ecological environment.This paper covers several Gulf Ningbo area for research, choosing three-time images such as1993,2002and2010TM images, topographic maps, land use maps and related auxiliarydata,And these kinds of data is interpreted using computer-based artificial supplemented by acombination of methods to interpret, extracting elements of ecological resources on various topicsof environmental information; related to the use of landscape ecology landscape indicesquantitative analysis and other research methods, studying area plaque characteristics, diversity,fragmentation and other aspects of analysis; Meanwhile, this paper analysis the spatial andtemporal variation of different periods of Ningbo bay ecological resources, and a combination offactors affecting the evolution of ecological resources environmental factors were also studied.Studies have shown that: regional differences in the development of Ningbo Gulf beaches issignificant; ecological resources between temporal and spatial variation of each element classesvary greatly; ecological resources evolve on a small number of types of elements. During threetime periods from1993to2010, the overall length of the coastline showing increasing trend afterthe first cut,the entire region is mainly concentrated in three northern regions such as the northernshoreline changes in Cixi,Xiangshan inside,Sanmen Bay,however,the changes of other shorelineare not obvious. The overall beach area in the study increase rapidly after the first reduce,theoverall beach area increase339.520%. In addition, from transfer matrix of Xiangshan Port andGulf of Damu,to draw conclusions that the two bay systems are significantly expanding around thebeach area, while showing a certain degree of difference.
