The Design And Implementation Of The Prokaryotic Microbial Species Information Datebase

With the rapid development of educational informationization, the computer hasbecame an important part in modern teaching activities, more and more excellent webcourses and educational resources were popular with teachers and students. The constructionof web-based educational resources has gradually become the major subjects for teachers.This study originates from research topic "The Digital Education ResourcesConstruction of Prokaryotic Microbial Systematics", which belong to the institute ofmicrobiology in the School of Life Sciences Hebei University. The purpose of the study is toconstruct web-based education resources--The Prokaryotic Microbial Species InformationDatebase, the main function is to support the daily teaching and learning, provide accurateand convenient species information for the puplic.Through the study on internal and international research of the state of the existingweb-based educational resources of prokaryotic microbe, summarizes their characteristics toguide the study. Secondly, completed the demand analysis through the investigation to makethe users’ demands clear. Thirdly, searching base theory of the system construction, andformulate the construction principle for the system. Finally, accomplish the designing,implementation and testing of the system according to the demand analysis, meanwhileunder the guide of the theory and the construction principle.
