A Research On Interface Management In Enterprise Technological Innovation

Technological innovation is the basic power for an enterprise to develop. No matter how powerful an enterprise is, it will fail to develop without innovation. The high-tech enterprises in China usually have a low efficiency in technological innovation. As a result, the commercialization and industrialization cycle is too long for those enterprises to make any profit. The major cause lies in the interface barriers existing between departmental interfaces in the technological innovation process, including R&D, manufacturing, process design and marketing stages. The research on the reason of the interface barriers and the theory of interface management is very important to the efficiency of technological innovation.Based on the interface management theory newly arisen abroad, this thesis uses comparative method, quantitative method, qualitative method, quota analysis and case analysis to make a thorough research on interface management. Questionnaires were completed by managers of the sample companies to collect data for the analysis, which reveals the causes of interface, establishes a systematic analyzing model for departmental interface barriers in technical innovation of enterprises.Then, this article expounds on five aspect of interface management: the way of dealing with interface relationship types, organization factor of interface management, culture factor of interface management, coordination mechanism of interface management, motivation mechanism of interface management. It also probes into the application of interface management theory. This article also practically provides a multi-level model for evaluating the interface management effectiveness. The model is verified by sampling analysis. The research will provide a valuable reference for Chinese enterprises to improve the efficacy of interface management and efficiency of technological innovation.To extend the findings of this study into the arena of interface management for Technological innovation, a competence model can be used in the interface management. It also helps to provide a reference for the future development of interface management in Chinese enterprise Technological innovation.
