What's the most important for a company in 21 Century? Person with ability! What are the most important abilities for the company? The abilities which can lead to outstanding performances——Competencies!"Competency"means the qualifications to win, but not only some basic qualifications for the job. It's the gather of the qualifications that can lead to great performance for a job through job analyzing which is basic on the strategy of the company.How to make a Competency System? First, to get the answer of what kind of the procedure, organization and employee the company need through analyzing the company's strategy. Then, analyze positions, to make the standards of the competencies for every position. To find the gap between the competencies that the positions need and the employee have. Then,to search a proper way to make the staff get promotion of the competencies in order to fit the positions'standards. And don't forget to update the Competency System when the environment is changing.A material case is introduced for explaining the procedure of founding a Competency System more clearly.
