Although the research on regional characteristic and difference was dominant in geography thoroughly, traditional positive research on economic location and contacts was weak in quantitative methods, one of the main reasons was the shortage of statistic data. By the research on course of regional economic contacts, discusses its formation and contents, determines its major contact directions, will be in favor of regional economic division and cooperation, and promotes balanced, sustainable and healthy development of the regional economy.In the trend of information, knowledge and new technology revolution, as the main body of region competition based on their traditional meanings, Cities show itself deficiency evidently. Now urban agglomerations have become the basical cell participate in the international competition.
