A Study On Yangtze River Feeding Ground Central Cities' Urban Residents' Way Of Leisure And The Influential Factors

As the development of our country's economy and the reform and opening, urban residents' life has been widely promoted. The high-speed developing of economy and urban modernization has brought great effects to urban residents' leisure life. Since 1990s, Chinese workers' leisure time has increased a lot. Our holidays have been closing to 120 days, which has closed to the level of developed countries. Leisure has been one of the most important parts of urban residents' life. Based on the background the paper has taken Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu as examples, and has chosen urban residents' choices on ways of leisure and influential factors as objects of study. It has mainly inquired into these problems as follows:Firstly, based on the investigation, the paper has analyzed three typical cities' urban residents' ways of leisure, which has reflected the current situation of urban residents' leisure life of our country, in order to tap the general laws and differences in their ways of leisure.Secondly, the paper has looked into the deeper needs of urban residents' leisure life from the level of influential factors. Then, it has grasped the intrinsic relationship between region environment with the cultural differences and the characteristics of urban residents' leisure life, in order to explore the deep aim and ultimate direction of city's leisure development.Thirdly, the paper has compared three central cities of Yangtze River feeding ground. It has chosen Shanghai, Wuhan and Chengdu as examples, which are all the central cities of the three urban agglomerations located on Yangtze River's lower, middle and upper reaches and also stretch over the eastern, middle and western areas of the same river valley. The paper has focused on the differences of city factors which greatly affect urban residents' ways of leisure, in order to reflect the intimate relationship between way of leisure and city's civilization development. Then, it has proposed suggestions on promoting urban residents' leisure life.The paper includes five parts as follows: Chapter 1: Introduction. It is the theoretical foreshadowing of the whole paper. Chapter 2: The analysis on Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu's urban residents' choice of ways of leisure. It has analyzed, compared and summarized the main characteristics and differences of their choices. Chapter 3: A comparison on the choice of ways of leisure among different groups of people of the three cities. It has made deeper analysis and comparison on groups people's choices. Chapter 4: The analysis on the influential factors of the three cities' urban residents' choice of ways of leisure. It has analyzed the subjective and objective factors that influent their choices on ways of leisure. Chapter 5: Conclusions and Suggestions. It has concluded the results of the whole research and proposed suggestions on promoting urban residents' leisure life and leisure development of cities.
