Analyzation And Optimization On The Process Of International Air Cargo

With the intense competition in the international market, the conception of logistics management, such as JIT, Zero storage etc, has been widely spread. Multinational enterprises require for the efficient global purchase, distribution and delivery of cargoes. How to speed up the cargo circulation has become a crucial issue for the enhancement of these companies'competitive potency. Therefore, it's of vital importance to analyze and optimize the business process of international air cargo.This thesis mainly researched on the export part of the international cargo aviation process, with the intention to improve operating efficiency. The method of business process analysis, the theory of statistics, the modeling procedures of stochastic Petri net and the Exspect simulation software were adopted in modeling and simulating the export business process, in proposing the re-organization scheme and in verifying its validity.Research work in details contains: 1. Analyzing the current situation of national cargo aviation industry, introducing the business process of international air cargo. 2. Analyzing the theoretical foundation of applying stochastic Petri net into the establishment of international air cargo process. Constructing the corresponding stochastic Petri net, conducting the performance analysis on the simulated model based on different distributions of the varied implementation time, and obtaining to conclusion for the necessity of process optimization. 3. Re-organizing the international strategies, verifying the performance efficiency through simulation and proving the effectiveness of the scheme. 4. Cast some light on the study's future development .
