An Investigation Of Agricultural Co-operation Between Iran And China

With the world's economic integrative process enhanced increasingly, the contact of the international economic community develops deeply and fully. The agricultural cooperation between China and Iran as a mode of the state-to-state association plays an indispensable role in terms of optimizing the agricultural resources of the country, expanding the agriculture development space, and promoting two country's economic trades. In recent years, the cooperation between the two counties is just at a beginning stage, and it needs further expand. China's possession of abundant funds, technique, and labor force would infuse vitality into Iran's agricultural advancement. And mutually, Iran's rich land resources, variety of agriculture by-products, and the market agricultural machine tool may promote the Chinese business enterprise to carry on an agricultural cooperation with Iran's enterprise. However, the beginning phase of the cooperation between the two countries inevitably makes it the scale small, the level low. Therefore, the further study of this cooperation will has theoretic value and realistic meaning on the optimization of the agricultural resources of the two sides and on the strengthening international competitive ability of the agriculture.Starting from the perspective of agricultural resources' optimization, this paper will make an organic view of study on the agricultural resources of China and that of Iran: to begin with, the general introduction of Iran's natural geographical features and of its current productive situation of the agriculture is presented so as to make a summary of Iran's productive trait. Then, the efficiency of agricultural resources' optimization of the two countries is evaluated respectively and the difference of the two sides' advantage is also analyzed. Thirdly, this paper will demonstrate the necessity of cooperation between the two countries, and analyze the feasibility to develop an agricultural cooperation in order to promote the agricultural resources' optimization between the two sides in theory and practical reality. From doing the demonstration and the analysis, the inherent relation and interactive connection in the process of Chinese-Iranian agricultural development is revealed. Finally, this paper, based on the analysis of advantage and the disadvantage in terms of the economic and trade policy between the two sides, the investment environment and the market condition, put forward a series of concrete suggestions in strategy, method and other important areas.
