Study On Agriculture Geography Of Iran

Agriculture is the basis of Iran's national economy, it has created 16% of the gross domestic product, and 35% of the population are rural,25% of the population engaged in agricultural production activities. In order to reduce over-reliance on oil resources and to achieve national food security, Iran put great attachment on the development of agriculture. With unique geographical environment,Iran has a special agricultural production distribution.Studying of agricultural geography of Iran, will help us understanding Iran deeply and cooperating with Iran better and more comprehensively in agriculture.Beginning with Iran's natural conditions, guided by agricultural location theory, the paper divided Iran's agriculture and geographical regions and it was divided into six chapters, as follows:ChapterⅠ:A Literature Review. Introduced research on division of agricultural areas and the agricultural geography of Iran domestic and abroad Compared with former agriculture division theory, this article get its difference.ChapterⅡ:This paper presents the background and significance of the topics of the article, research methods and technology routes.ChapterⅢ:agricultural economics and agricultural region's development. In the senses of climate, soil, land use, water and terrain, this article analyzed Iran's natural conditions, regional differences; and analyzed Iran's socio-economic conditions and its regional differences in the senses of transportation, labor, technology and policy.ChapterⅣ:Division of Iran's agricultural geography. This chapter describes the agricultural geographic area of Iran's basic theory, principles and methods. Taking into account of Iran's natural conditions mainly, and also its economic factors,this paper selected 11 indicators as indicators of Iran's agriculture geographical divisions. Used principal component analysis approach, Iran's agriculture geographical areas was divided into 11 parts.Chapter v:Analysis of Iran's agricultural geographic regional characteristics. Introducing the 11 agricultural geographical areas divided above, the paper described every agricultural region features.Chapter vi:Conclusion.Discuss the results, significance,effect and issues of the division.Innovations of this article:Divisions of Iran agriculture geography has been carried out in foreign and Chinese books, but the ways of which are too simple.For example,climate only.irrigation method only and geographical conditions as indicators of the division, advantages of which are simple and clear, but they can not summary agriculture geography area of Iran sufficiently and comprehensively. Taking the geography factor as the main indicator, concluding economic and social elements, the paper's effect is more practical. It is different from the comprehensive agricultural division and agricultural economic division.Characteristics of the article:First. New angle topics of the topics. Iran's agricultural geography division has not been studied systematically. It is irreplaceable to fill gaps in the study of Iran and to promote understanding Iran's agriculture and society.Second. Research is more objective, combating quantitative and qualitative methods. In this paper, EXCEL, SPSS and other software were used in a large number of raw data processing and handling. Conclusions were got according to the output data.Rich manifestations. This paper adopt drawing and graphics processing software,such as Mapgis, Photoshop etc to process scanned maps and network downloaded maps,On the basis of which related elements were loaded with.There are a lot of data tables and color graphics in this paper. Depiction,table and diagram were combined and presented the article intuitively and effectively.According to studying of the paper,it can be concluded that:First.Natural conditions limits to agricultural production of Iran are major factors in Iran's Agriculture geography regional division In order to realize agricultural modernization of Iran,it is necessary to overcome the drought, mountainous and other natural conditions.Second.This article divided Iran into four major agriculture geography regions. Northwest, Southwest, Southeast and Northeast are taken as a large agriculture geographical area; central, southern, eastern and northern coast of the Caspian Sea are taken as a large agriculture geographical regions; the west can be divided into two large agriculture geographical area.Third.Iran agriculture geographical area was divided into eleven small parts on the basis of the four large regions mentioned above,and every small region has its own advantages and characteristics.Due to limits of my knowledge and difficulties in gathering information on Iran, the selection of indicators for the division of agricultural geography zone is not comprehensive enough. And some of Iran's foreign-language books and literatures on Iran can't be got and referenced, which affect the paper's level.
