Research On Application Of ERP In Zhang Ye Power Plant

This paper first reviewed the development and application status of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in the domestic enterprises, especially in the electricity industry. At the same time, it recalled the theoretical thoughts, development and the status of ERP. It introduced Management Information System (MIS), Business Process Reengineering (BPR), and other related management concepts briefly. Through deep understanding of these new management methods and theories, it not only made a good foundation for this proper paper, but also provided practical and innovative ideas guaranteed for the paper. Through deep investigation and analysis of the characteristics and the reform status in the electricity industry and the internal conditions and external environments of Zhangye Power Plant, it gave the necessity and feasibility of using ERP in Zhangye Power Plant. To fully understand requirements of the ERP software system's function in Zhangye Power plant, based on the analysis of the Zhangye Power plant's organizations and agencies, management service flow and existing software, in detail it has carried on an analysis of the enterprise ERP system software demanding function. According to the thought of data modeling language design, it established the Zhangye Power plant's ERP network system and its subsystems and corresponding function module, simultaneously it analyzed the several important modules of ERP, such as purchase management, stock management, fuel management service Re-engineering. Finally it elaborated the investment risk which possibly appeared in ERP implementation process of Zhangye Power plant and it provided the successful standard of ERP implementation. And From the movement mechanism, the contract management, the partner, the personnel training, network security and so on, it elaborated the items which should be paid attention in the implementation process.
