The Forest Dependence Level Evaluation Of The Community On The Edge Of Forest

The conservation of nature and economic development are the main topic of sustainable development. Since the beginning when the nature reserve is set up, the purpose is to lighten even stop residents to use the resources unreasonably. Under the most serious situation that the natural resource is threatened it can reduce the damage to natural resource and decrease the resource dependence of the residents in the nature reserve. Though the purposes of the nature conservation management policy are all to the resource dependence of the local residents, the last effect of policy might not be so. Most protective policies are only to change the recessive resource dependence to opposite one. As a result, we must weigh the residents' resource dependence level in the nature reserve and appraise the performance of the nature conservation management policy and sustainable development objectively and accurately. The research on the forest dependence level of community residents in Baishuijiang national nature reserve, Gansu can solve the contradiction between economic development and rational utilization of forest to a certain extent and have demonstration meanings.Firstly, this text summarizes the research progress of forest dependence level systematic domestic and outside and on this basis carry on scientific definition to community on the edge of forest and forest dependence level separately. On the basis of the thing that forefathers study, through the further investigation of the actual conditions of cornmunity on the edge of forest, combining the expert opinion, the intact assessing index system of forest dependence level is designed and 30 relevant independent indexes and corresponding measurement formulae have been put forward.Secondly, the basic situation of producing forest dependence in the community on the edge of forest is studied in input and output aspects. The basic situation of living forest dependence is studied in energy sources, personal consumption and living establishment. The basic situation of culture forest dependence is studied in emotion, religious belief, life style, social resources. In this course I have analyzed 30 indexes in an all-round way and adopt AHP to confirm the weight of every index. On this basis, the forest dependence level of the community on the edge of forest in Baishuijiang nature reserve is assessed comprehensively. And the relevant statistical analysis is carried on to the influence factors.Finally, the suitable forest dependence level is exploited. Under the game theory and new developing classical economics, the model of solving suitable forest dependence level is structured and the result is calculated. In view of the above, we have been put forward relevant policy and countermeasure and suggestion, which all point out the constructive suggestion in such aspects as behavior, mechanism, management mode, industrial structure and have directive significance.
