Study On Hefei Developing Into The Center Tourism City Of Anhui Province During The Period From Year 2006 To 2010

Anhui province is famous for its numerous tourism resources, but its tourism developed not well in recent years. Lacking of a provincial center tourism city is the main problem leading to current situation .As the capital city of Anhui province ,Hefei has comprehensive advantage compared to any other city of Anhui province and it is necessary and important to build Hefei into the provincial center tourism city ofAnhui province.As an important part of Tourism Development Plan of Hefei during the Period from Year 2006 to 2010, this article also gives suggestions on what specific measures should be taken to develop Hefei into the center tourism city of Anhui province based on survey on relative government officials and tourism experts. Compared to any other city in the province, Hefei has more population ,better economy and communications condition. Also as the capital city of Anhui province, Hefei has more competitive advantages. Moreover ,Hefei has better tourism development foundation and for its neighboring to the developed Yangzi Delta Area, Hefei has more opportunity to further promote its tourism in the near future. All these could ensure Hefei to develop into the center tourism city of Anhui province. Hefei should make efforts in four perspectives to strengthen the ability to guarantee its position as the center tourism city of Anhui province. First, Hefei should do more and better to support and lead the tourism of Anhui province comprehensively and harmoniously. Secondly Hefei should try to make it become an well-known civil tourists' destination city. Thirdly, Hefei should make more efforts to perfect the provincial tourism network and build itself as the right center to provide better communications and information service etc. Fourthly, Hefei should pay more attention to its city building administrative management as well as tourism service capacity.Hope this article could give reference on how to develop Hefei into the center tourism city of Anhui province in order to further support and promote tourism of Anhui province during the period from year 2006 to 2010.
