Since China joined World Trade Organization, Chinese government madea promise that open our oil market slowly. Foreign oil company are permittedto come into China to sell their product. To keep a strong competition on themarket ,Chinese petroleum enterprise must take measure to lower theproduction cost. The transportation cost has an important role in themanufacture cost. For the most economical transportation way is by oil pipenetwork, the optimization research work is performed on the basis of thesupply chain management theory and related theory. At first, the relative research situation is set forth, form the situation offoreign country ,such as American Europe and Middle East ,the pipeline for oiltransportation is the most economical way .After that, he optimization researchon oil supply chain pipeline network in China is put forward. In the following, the foundation theory ,including the theory of supplychain management, of logistics management and of logistics programming, are analyzed, the relationship among them also distinguished. From thedefinition, the limitation between the oil industry supply chain and oiltransportation pipeline network. According to the real condition about ourcountry oil transportation pipeline network, the situation and scarcity of ournetwork and relative work is summarized. The restriction condition on thepipeline network node and optimization research are decided, the structure ofoil pipeline network supply chain are also analyzed. Finally ,the mathematical model are put forward and object function, known number, control variable. The model solution method are discussedand decided.
