An Analysis On Green Supply Chain Management In China's Manufacturing Industry

The traditional manufacturing industry produces abundant material fortune bymass production while consuming lots of resources, which aggravates the scarcity ofresources and exacerbates the conflict between population and environment. It hasbecome a focus on how to make maximum use of resources to produce more socialwealth and minimize the negative effects on environment. The increasing accidentsbecause of environment destruction urge the consistent of business operation andenvironment. Green supply chain management is an efficient and sustainable way tosolve such problems. Through summarization of the domestic and oversea researchwork on the green supply chain and combination of our own national conditions andmanufacturing industry's environmental traits, this thesis describes the presentbusiness environment, analyzes the exiting problems in implementing green supplychain management in our country's manufacturing industry and finally gives somesuggestions for domestic enterprises to put green supply chain management intopractice effectively. It has proved that, by green supply chain management, thedomestic enterprises can reduce the environmental risk, save resources, cut downproduction cost, increase companies' economic benefits and environment performance.The study on it is of great important for firms to improve competitiveness, protectenvironment and implement sustainable development strategies.
