Theoretical And Empirical Research On Integration Of Territorial Economy In China

The process of industrialization and urbanization is the one of integration ofterritorial economy which plays the role of central city, implements effective industrycluster and forms an organic combinational city agglomeration. Because of therequirement of interest distribution and achievements evaluation, integration ofterritorial economy comes to a process of paradox and needs institutional innovationat the core with interest.Based on the status of ITE (integration of territorial economy) in China, Thethesis brought forward the basic conception of ITE on the foundation of interestcommunity. This conception which established premise on building an effectiveinterest-coordinated system, regarded interest as a core, emphasized governments'introductory function to form leaders' consensus, enhance culture recognition andsolve legal barriers. It was an invaluable conception to implement ITE blueprints,found ITE markets, hasten industrial aggregation and hence realize prosperous ITE.The thesis analyzed Midong District in Xinjiang as the empirical instance. MidongDistrict has unified finance, markets and organizations to form an interest communitywithout breaking regionalism, which carved out a new method of ITE.This paper serves as the reference for the progress of society and economy inXinjiang.
