In the situation of ever increasing fierce competition in the power market, the power plants are urgent to resolve the problems, how to inspire the employees' working enthusiasm, exert their initiative and potential, thus improve the efficiency and benefits of the company, and remain invincible in the competitive market.This paper briefly analyzes the competition situations and challenges from the interior conditions. Then, it summarizes the disadvantages and analyzes the causes, based on the recent surveys of worker's excitation in the power plants through questionnaire and in-depth talk, makes a logical analysis through statistics and fizzing mathematics and establishes an evaluation model. Based on the actual needs of the workers in the power plant, integrating with the theories of motivation, and adopting the research fruits of psychology, sociology, management science and behavior science, it presents the objectives and strategies to improve the personnel excitation system. This paper analyzes the personnel excitation and evaluation shifting from the qualitative to quantative, presents practicable excitation methods, and offers good reference for the power enterprise management.
