Research On The Influence Factors Of The Forming And Development Of The Industry Agglomeration In Hunan Province

The Industry Agglomeration describes the phenomenon that some similar industrial enterprises tend to converge geographically. The economic globalization is leading the essential factors, the resources and the allocation of labor to change rapidly in different levels and converge gradually to the characteristic areas. One of the basic characters of the world industry organization is that the similar or correlative industries centralize in the same locations, and they are more and more dependent to each other. The industry Agglomeration is one of the forms of the regional industry organization, Regardless of the traditional industries or the high technology ones, the space Agglomeration plays a very important role in advancing the industrial innovation and the industrial competitive power. For the very functions in the adjustment of regional industry structure and the formation of the regional convergent economy, the Industry Agglomeration becomes the main part of the regional technology innovation and the organization system innovation. Therefore, we must pay attention to the effect of the Industry Agglomeration in order to promote the local economic competitive power.The Industry Agglomeration shows great significance in realizing the regional industry's reasonable layout and the optimization and promotion of regional industry then the promotion of the competitive power of local economy. However, since Chinese policy of reformation and opening up brought into effect, the Industry Agglomeration occurred mainly in the littoral cities, and there are few industry convergent centers in the middle parts and westward of China. Compared with the developed coastal provinces, there is almost none phenomenon of industry Agglomeration in Hunan province. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to take research on the various factors which influence the formation and development of Industry Agglomeration of Hunan province.This thesis attempts to construct a fundamental framework which researches the factors affecting the formation and development of the Industry Agglomeration. Based on the predecessor's research product, the author takes the transaction expense, the industry allocation of labor and specialization, the industry chains and the value chains, the institutional innovation as the main factors which strongly influence the formation and development of Industry Agglomeration. Then the thesis demonstrates concretely these influencing factors. Firstly, it analyses the present situation of the industrystructures and qualities of Hunan province. The result indicates that the level of industry structures of HUNAN province is below the general level, the structure benefit misses, industry foundation is weak and lacking the powerful leading industry and the main item enterprise having impetus function, the specialized degress is so low that difficult in forming the effect of gathers and scale benefit. Secondly, the research appraise the industry division and the degree of the industrial specialization of HUNAN provice with the industry's dispose coefficient in the position(S) and the index of regional specialization(P),and then through comparatively analyzing the formation and development procedure of domestic several typical industrial clusters, This work intensify the knowledge about the factors affecting the industrial clusters' formation and development of HUNAN .Finally, based on former analysis, this paper propose the suggestion on promoting the industrial cluster's formation and development of HUNAN.
