Empirical Analysis On Factors Of Jiangsu Province Entering The International Specialization

Intro-product international labor specialization,which aroused in1990’s, hasincreasingly become the main style of international labor specialization now. Thiskind of new international specialization make great difference in internationaleconomics as science&technology heads on. Trade development style in fact issubjected to the labor division location. What the international labor division is likedecides what the international trade style will be. This is just the two sides of a coin.This dissertation just discusses about the right way to entrance gate for Jiangsuprovince entering the international labor division. With the deepening of internationalspecialization and development of information technology, multinational corporationsplay a main role in intra-industry and intra-product specialization more and more,which has grown into the main style of international labor division gradually.Whatever the international labor division style becomes, the principles of comparativeadvantage are still here, what the difference exists is just its effectiveness points movefrom inter-industry to intra-industry and intra-product. New changes just bring newchallenges to conventional theories. Conventional trade theory takes the wholecountry as a basic unit to describe inter-industry specialization, but the strategic tradetheory and competitive trade theory transfer their perspectives from industry toproduct or procedures, which has already grown into the main form of presentinternational labor division. In this paper the core theory is just intra-product labordivision theory or intra-product specialization theory. By our analysis one of thetargets is to make it clear that what is basic facts for Jiangsu province to integrate aninternational specialization system and by compared with neighbor provinces such asZhejiang,Shanghai,Shandong and Guangdong, how can Jiangsu province develop itscomparative advantages.It is argued that Jiangsu has many advantages in international intro-productspecialization. As a province administration, the state-pull policies play a great role incultivating a high-level industry construction,which is shown as all kinds of statepolicies such as special export policy, exchange rate, industry guidance and so on. Allthe restraints are just trade cost for an economy. So this dissertation construct a modelto verify how the trade cost effects a mini-economy in an open international labordivision system. In the meanwhile, this dissertation is hunting all the time for anaccess to high-level international labor division platform for Jiangsu province bymeans of comparing with other provinces.
