Performance management is one of the key function of strategic human resource and the effective tool for company to perform strategy .Professor Robert Kaplan in Harvard Business School and the president of America Nolan Norton research institute made a new and scientific system of performance evaluation ----Balanced Scorecard which makes a breakthrough of the traditional single financial index system which put emphasis on the financial index , it is the tool of realizing strategic human resource management.Based on the research of Balanced Scorecard and the strategic human resource , the author studies Balanced Scorecard from the point of strategy using the method of connecting theory with practice and combination of model inspection with case analysis.The first chapter analyses the history of the human resource management , background of the creation of strategic human resource management .The relative model of strategic human resource management research and the problems encountered in strategic human resource management in reality , then describe Balanced Scorecard.The second chapter states the importance and necessity of Balanced Scorecard through the analysis of the basic frame work , history and characters of balanced scorecard and the analysis of the function and performance evaluation system of the human resource management.The third chapter states the application of the Balanced Scorecard inindividual goal . Balanced Scorecard makes the connection between stimulation mechanism and the performance evaluation in the process of analyzing the company goal.The last chapter makes the recommendation about carrying Balanced Scorecard through the analyses of the necessity and difficulty of carrying out balanced scorecard in human resource management. We hope it will do good to companies in China .
