Study On The Evaluation Of The Core Competence Of Domestic Oil And Petrochemical Enterprise

This paper used the theories synthetically, such as core competence theory, competition advantage theory, value chain theory, modern industry organization theory , strategic management theory and studied questions by numbers such as "What is the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise", "How to evaluate the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise" , "How to promote the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise", etc.This paper analyzed the characters and SWOT of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise, and studied connotation and basal characteristics of the core competence of oil and petrochemical enterprise , combined oil and petrochemical enterprise's characteristics on the basis of enterprise 's core competence theory and answered the question of "What is the core competence of oil and petrochemical enterprise". Secondly , based on Michael Potter's value chain theory, the value chain of oil and petrochemical enterprise and its characteristics were discussed; the basal value chain of oil and petrochemical enterprise were set up according to the business procedure and operation mode, the paper put forward the three influence elements of the core competence of oil and petrochemical enterprise and discussed the relations of each element and core competence. Thirdly, on the basis of indexes' designed principle, connotation and its characteristics of oil and petrochemical enterprise's core competence, the evaluation indexes system of oil and petrochemical enterprise's core competence were set up and answered the question of "How to evaluate the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise". Fourthly, used for reference enterprise evaluation theory and method and based on the indexes system, multi-level comprehensive evaluation model was set up and the demonstration analysis to the core competence of China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC) was carried on; On the basis of the result, analyzed the CNPC's strength and weakness ;pointedout the cultivated orientation of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise's core competence and answered the question of "How strong is the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise". Lastly, on the basis of the evaluation system and evaluation result, the actuality and promotion tactics of the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise was studied by optimizing the value chain of oil and petrochemical enterprise. Through the optimization of the whole value chain of oil and petrochemical enterprise, oil and petrochemical enterprise could fully excavate the information in the value chain, thus to promote its core competence in essence and answer the question of "How to promote the core competence of domestic oil and petrochemical enterprise".
