On The Supporting And Protecting Policies For The Development Of Ecological Agriculture

Starting from the analysis of the original background of ecological agriculture, this paper firstly surveys the theoretical achievements in the study of ecological agriculture at home and abroad. Also in this part, the theoretical features, history of development, achievements and existing challenges are all systematically dealt with. Secondly, the revelations of the development of ecological agriculture in foreign countries are presented. Thirdly, the necessity of constituting policies for support and protection of ecological agriculture is analyzed. With this, the paper points out that the economic development in today's China has entered into a new era in which positive protection should be applied to agriculture. The author then points out that it is of great urgency and arduousness to construct the ecological agriculture in China— the largest developing country with the biggest population. As a strategic measure to keep the sustainable development, the construction of ecological agriculture should be supported and protected on such aspects as policy promulgation, legislation, and economic planning. Lastly, several possible strategies and measures are proposed for establishment of the policies for supporting and protecting ecological agriculture in China.
