Chongqing Sustainable Agricultural Development

Agriculture is one of foundation estate of national economy in china ,and the sustainable development of agriculture is an important ensure in sustainable development of society ,economy, natural resources and environment .The positive results of Industrial Revolution have been broadly applied in agriculture manufacture ,and take the effect on two aspects :one is, the rural economy has been growing at full speed, in leaps and bounds. But, the other facet is, the environmental problems, such as 'soil erosion', 'Desertification', 'Deteriorationof forest reserver',has been deteriorating increasing.Hence forward,we are paying close attention to the resource environments which are closely related to agriculture,which is as important as the development of rural economy.Since the end of the last century ,there is a tendency among experts and intellectuals in different countries,which develop the sustainable agriculture and start to explore the related study and go on practicing in this field.This thesis is built upon the initial research in agricultural resources of Chong Qing .It divides Chong Qing's agriculture into different areas by means of its differences in environment,society,economy, and resources,and evaluates the sustainable developing ability of different areas through comparing its quota standard,and results in the sustainable developing ability of different areas.Based on the results ,this theis also analyzes the limited elements related to it,submits the sustainable developing models which is suitable for the agricultural conditions in different areas.It tries to offer the therefical basis to coordinated development in agriculture,economy, and environment of Chong Qing.The practical significance should be got by applying the sustainable developing models in Chong Qing's agriculture.In chapter Ⅰ ,it is a theoretical basis. Since the previous century,many agricultural experts and intellectual's realized the serious consequences which is originated in the modern agriculture.They put forward a new.models---the sustainable developing agriculture,and gave its definition and characteristics.They emphasizes that in the sustainable developing agreculture,human beings are participators,not intervenients;human beings are only one of elements of the producing process of agricultural ecological system;and also human beings couldnot over—intervene,ever destroy the system.Otherwise the living environment of human beings will be ruined and the agriculture will result in being unsustainable.In chaper II,It divides Chong Qing's agriculture into different areas by means of comparing the differences in nature,social economy and environment of Chong Qing and horizontally compares the sustainable developing ability of agriculture of Chong Qing's Three Regions through using the evaluating quota of sustainable development of agriculture both at home and abroad.Then,gets the comprehensive ability in sustainable development,which the limitation of developing such ability in agriculture of Chong Qing's Three Regions.And based on these researches,it tries to give the sustainable developing model of agricultue,which could apply the different agricultural conditions of Chong Qing.In chapter III,It analyzes the policies and strategies which are related to found the sustainable development of agriculture in Chong Qing,and puts forward the initial ways to put the sustainable development of agriculture into practice, that is,the sustainable developing systems,such as agricultural technological system,rural social system,rural economic and agricultural ecology system,which can be the implementation to the sustainable developing model of agriculture.
