The success of BPR will improve the performance, promote customer satisfaction and make enterprises develop continuously. It's a fact that the success of BPR is little. Then to improve the success rate of BPR in order to help enterprises to meet the internal and external environments of the dynamic change becomes a research focus. Six Sigma Management centers at customer, is based on fact and figure and pursues the nearly perfect goal. It uses scientific measures that have been tested by practice to measure problem, analyze cause and control the result. It makes enterprises reach the best realm in process capability. Let BPR and Six Sigma join together seamlessly to enrich the theory and methods of BPR. And the transition "from art to technology" takes place. Also it can improve the success rate of BPR and help enterprises innovate management by BPR.The implementation principle of BPR is summarized. An implementation model of BPR is promoted and the characteristics of BPR enterprises are analyzed. Then the implementation organization of six sigma, implementation model and implementation toolbox are introduced. The attention of six sigma implementation is pointed out. The value and characteristic of six sigma is discussed. BPR and six sigma are compared from the respects of homology and dissimilarity. And the feasibility of the combination of the two is researched. Then the thought of Six-sigma-based BPR (SS-BPR) is proposed. Implementation methodology is provided, too. Its four stage is explained detailedly. The organization structure and training are discussed. The advantage of Six-sigma-based BPR is analyzed. Finally, this paper studies the car seat supplying process of Modern company, and analyzes the implementation process from four stages of vision conceiving, process appraising, process constructing and process transforming. And it proves that Six-sigma-based BPR is feasible and meaningful.
