Six sigma is not only a quality improvement method, but also a business management system method. It maintains continual improvement and improves the customer satisfaction. End of20th century with coming of six sigma to China, some companies implement six sigma successfully, but a lot of not get the expectation. The key impact factories are different among different industries. Even it is different in the same company for the changes of business stages, as well as the marketing environment and strategies. This is a dynamical process. The company need to adjust management as time goes on. Studying on the key impact factories of six sigma implementation will be benefit for the deployment of other enterprises.This thesis firstly gives a summary of ABC background on six sigma deployment. Through six years development, the lead time of one six sigma project is too long. This will impact the benefit of the business. Thus, the concept of key impact factories of six sigma implementation is drawn from thereof and the necessity is pointed out.The main tasks taken are:The special of the thesis is to use six sigma method to research the key impact factories of six sigma implementation by DMAIC phases (D-Define, M-Measure, A-Analysis, I-Improve, C-Control).Define Phase:To describe the problem with5W2H method. Collecting the customer voice and getting the Critical to Customer. The key CTC is to reduce the lead time from237to180days, the number of open actions from1.8to1.Measure Phase:To identify the potential variables. Work out the data collection plan based on the records of FY10&11. The project team designs the questionnaire to35Green Belt and8Black Belt, and shows the feedback with six sigma tools.Analysis Phase:The team analysis the data from Measure Phase with tools of fishbone,5WHY, scatter diagram, histogram etc.8key impact factories came out by the end based on the current business stage.Analysis Phase:The team worked out all possible solutions on the8key impact factories with brainstorming method. Considering the time and cost, the team selected the final solutions with priorities matrix. The important output is to work out the project selection matrix.Control Phase:The team monitored the performance after solutions implemented. The result is good to see the lead time was reduced to37days within3months. Standardization is set up by the end.This thesis not only investigated the key impact factories through sufficient data, but also proved a method to resolve this kind of problem. This is valuable to other similar enterprise.
