Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB)has been of increasing interest to both scholars and managers ,because it suits the changing competitive environment of the market and autonomous team-based work structure. Management rely on culture, analysis has proved that culture can influence OCB, since there are different organizational culture types, it is necessary to study the influence of organizational culture types on OCB.Based on a broadly review of relevant literatures on OCB, we begin with the survey on 212 samples from seven different organizations, results of the present study indicate the following:1. The differences among the 6 dimensions of OCB are significant, civic virtue got the highest score, public welfare participant got the lowest score.2. The aspects of sex, marriage and education have no significant influence on OCB dimensions.3. There is significant difference of OCB on factor work life. People who stay more than five years in the organization have significant higher scores than those less than two year on Participant Behavior and Helpful Behavior dimensions.4. There is significant difference of OCB on factor age. People over 45 years old have significant higher scores than the other three age sections on helpful behavior dimension.5. There is significant difference of OCB on factor position. Compared with High level superintendents, common staffs display more participant behaviors.6. There is significant difference of OCB on factor organization type. Private enterprises have the lowest score on participant behavior, civic virtue, public welfare participant and helpful behavior. Foreign enterprises display far more better than private enterprises and state organizations on initiative behavior.7. There is significant difference of OCB on organizational culture types. The Market displays better than the other three types on participant behavior, civic virtue, initiative behavior and helpful behavior. The Hierarchy displays far more better than the other three types on public welfare participant. On each dimension, the Adhocracy has the lowest score.
