In the modern business management, job analysis and job evaluation are the base of HRM. They are also the effective tools to improve the management level of HRM and solve the problems. At the same time, they not only offer the technological means of understanding and confirming the working relevant information, but also directly influence the operation result of organization and working system. Do a good job of job analysis and job evaluation, a firm can improve and remedy the common shortcoming of organization's function insufficient, lack correspondingly flexible, high communication cost, the confusion of duty, right and interest and etc, which will give their staff higher working satisfaction while accomplish the goal of organization. In our country, job analysis and job evaluation have not get important post in the past. A lot of enterprises have not carry on the job analysis and job evaluation, so there are still many problems which are hard been settled in HR plan, staff recruit, staff training, performance appraisal, compensation management and etc. Further more, it may harm the existence and the development of enterprise. In recent years, some farsighted chieftains have already begun to pay close attention to the important function of job analysis and job evaluation in HRM and the development of the enterprise. Job analysis and job evaluation have already become a hot issue that the enterprises concerned progressively.The author focuses on the Chinese enterprises, carrying on the research of job analysis and job evaluation related basic theories and their actual application in enterprises at a certain degree. The content includes four chapters:Chapter one is an introduction. The author will elucidate the research background of the thesis and the research meaning, and then introduce the development history of job analysis and job evaluation. After this, the author analyses the problems existing in job analysis and job evaluation of Chinese enterprise and describe simply the train of the research though.Chapter two begin from expounding the emergence and development of HRM (Human Resources Management). Then the author analyses the difference between traditional personnel management and modern HRM. Finally, she explains and analyses the importance of HRM management to the firms and the role of job analysis and job evaluation in HRM.In Chapter three, after recommend further some related conceptions and the research object of the job analysis, the author analyses the relationship between the job analysis and the HRM functions, and then discuss simply some kinds of method of job analysis and job evaluation, proposing some principles when select the analytical methods.Chapter four is an introduction of the application examples and the future development of the job analysis and job evaluation. A job analysis applied model is given here, and at the end , the author discuss the future application, development, and characters of the job analysis and the job evaluation.The last chapter is a conclusion.
